Anne Lindberg, rising temperatures 01, 2021, graphite and colored pencil on mat board, 26 x 24 inches

"Exactly: precision and process" opens at Pamela Salisbury Gallery in Hudson, NY on Saturday, November 13 from 3-5pm

November 8, 2021

Gallery Statement: This exhibition questions boundaries between fine art and traditional craft. Distinctions between these historically separate spheres are less easily made in what is sometimes described as a “post-disciplinary” world. The objects and installations on view, comprised of works in metal, wood, fiber and clay, traverse disciplines in a way that heightens our appreciation for finely honed ideas and beautifully crafted things. The artists represented in EXACTLY approach their work with the kind of intention and exacting skill that becomes an essential part of the objects’ meaning.
